Terms Changelog
This page records material changes to the GitStack
Terms of Service and to the limits we publish for
a plan. Section 13 of the Terms sets the notice we give before such a
change takes effect. Each entry records the date we gave notice and the
date the change took effect. Entries are listed newest first.
July 25, 2026
Notice given July 25, 2026 · Effective July 25,
2026. This entry was published under the prior section 13, which
required notice before the effective date but set no notice period.
- Acceptable use (section 5): added a new prohibition, "store data
unrelated to the source you host beyond the storage quota of your
plan", to the list of prohibited conduct.
- Acceptable use (section 5): added "usage metering" to the existing
prohibition on probing, disrupting, or circumventing the Service's
security, isolation, rate limits, or plan limits.
- Changes to these Terms (section 13): material changes to the Terms
or to published plan limits now take effect 30 days after notice by
email and by a banner on the Service, and each one is listed on this
page. Before the effective date you may export all of your data and
close your account. Changes that take effect sooner are limited to
what compliance with the law requires. The existing rule that
continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms is retained unchanged.
- Plans and billing (section 3): added a pointer to the notice period
in section 13 for changes to published plan limits.
